The IDE Helper is utility for searching and replacing an expressions in files of catalog tree. The expressions can be represented as string of characters, series of bytes or escape sequences. Another purpose - to remove temporary files on the disk. The program have integration with Windows shell. For a file browse and editing it uses Windows Notepad as default editor, but can be assigned custom editor. Because IDE Helper supports C++ programming language syntax it have potential integration with C++ Editor, that is available on authors WEB site. In most cases IDE Helper can be useful as assistant for IDEs which are without "Find in files" command or performing such a command distracts a programmer from current task.
