The Teroid Data Filter configures itself with a set of controls for each column in the specified data source allowing the user to specify filtering criteria, sort order and the inclusion of each column. The data source can be set at design time or in code as a connection string, an ADO .NET Connection, an ADO .NET DataSet or an ADO .NET DataTable. Properties are also available to specify which of the filter criteria, sort order and column include features are available to the user. The user's selections are returned to the client application as a string of SQL. This control therefore has a wide range of uses in virtually any application using a back-end database by providing a quick and easy way to sort and filter data for queries, forms and reports. [...]
